Default Up 100% on Rotten Tomatoes

Yes, another 100% on rotten tomatoes thread. However, "Up" does have 20 reviews to its credit. Thus, it should score above 90% when all of the reviews are in. In addition, Roger Ebert approved, and that appears to be a must for some people. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/up/

I've read those reviews and I think this will actually score really well. It could even score higher than Star Trek. I'm sure it won't hold that 100 cause some critic who hates Pixar will find fault with it.

Anyone else notice the nod to Up in the Simpsons on Sunday?

After the preachy joke that was Wall-E, I'm looking for Pixar to redeem themselves with Up. I have a very strong feeling I won't be disappointed considering Wall-E was the first Pixar film I didn't like.

There is a joke in that quote, but Wall-E isn't it. I trust UP will be nothing short of a continuation of near perfect productions.

A Pixar flick {that'll likely win the Academy award this year} 100% on Rotten Tomatoes?

I'm shocked.

Me too. I haven't really been excited about Up, because it always just seemed so odd to me. But then again, it can't really be worse than Ratatouille, right?

I think Pixar has been taking great pains to retain the story surprises in the film -- the trailers for almost all of the Pixar films (especially the teasers) have underwhelmed, while the films knocked your socks off.

I showed A Bug's Life to my wife tonight. She had never seen it. So here she is, watching the end credits on the Blu-Ray, and she said "This was wonderful! You know...I never wanted to see it. The trailers just looked -- meh."

"Honey," I said, "It's Pixar."

"I know, I know" she said, "but that was before I knew what Pixar meant."

As my wife might say, the trailers for Up are "Meh". But as I told her, it's Pixar, and at this point, I think we all know what Pixar means.

Well myself i just saw up in sneak tonight and as expected pixar has another
great movie.

I thought the short was amusing but not as much as the abduction short they had but you can decide when you guys see it.

Worked 8-4:15 ran down to see star trek AGAIN as i wasn't going home than coming back when i was already there and got in line shortly after 6:30 was in
my seat by 7pm and it started @ 7:30.

Only 1 preview for disney's hamster flic-and no it wasn't in 3d but i can't see 3d anyway it just looks like a regular movie when the shades are on.

Without them i can see the seperate slices of footage.

Another great pixar film.

I wasn't really excited for 'Up', but I was watching Finding Nemo on the Disney channel the other day and they had a lot of preview stuff for it that I don't think they are showing anywhere else...and now I'm psyched.

What you think somethings amiss with a "boy" going on a adventure with a really really old man? I mean come on there cant be anything weird about that, just like there is nothing wrong with Family Guy and the Old Guy and Chris ...

There is a reviewer on there that gave it an a- in his review but it shows he rated it rotten?
