New animated series.

The first to premiere later this year on the Disney streaming platform is Tales Of The Jedi. An anthology series comprised of original animated shorts, Tales of The Jedi will tout stories featuring Jedi from the prequel era and will debut in the fall.

The newly-revealed series will be the second Star Wars animated anthology to come to the Disney platform. In September 2021, Disney+ debuted Star Wars Visions, an anthology series in which seven Japanese anime studios created animated shorts set in the Star Wars universe.

So how long are these episodes? Because they keep referring to them as “shorts”

Some of it is good, some of it is pure filler. Ive watched a lot of it but consider it "tack-on" material. Still very much a movies & some live-action TV guy myself. But, some of that animated stuff is a great way to burn some time on a lazy weeknight or whatever.

I mean, it's ultimately your call, but...you really should. It's both canon and most of it is quite excellent. And if at any point you found yourself lost at some of the Mandalorian's plot reveals, you're gonna find yourself really lost when Ahsoka starts. It's basically a sequel to Rebels, full stop.

Really, everything out right now and coming in the near future ties into Rebels in some way. Even Obi-Wan Kenobi is no exception.

No, Obi Wan mentioned him disobeying the council before.
This will probably show how he had his own rules.
Obi Wan seems to have picked up his bad habits.

I'll never understand the logic of taking down stuff that hypes people up. Like, do you WANT more people to see, and more people to watch?

Because they want to release it through their channels.

It wasn't until like, three months after, that they put the first Mando trailer on their channel after showing it behind closed doors.

That's my point. All that does is annoy people, and it's STILL gonna get leaked one way or another! Just give it to everyone equally at the same time and be done with it.

That is their game plan. It was shown at the Celebration, and will be released or a variation later.
