Anyone else hoping/wishing for Billy Wilder on Blu? Really would like "Sunset Blvd." , "Ace in The Hole", "The Apartment", and "Double Indemnity." Actually, all Billy Wilder would be welcome!

I believe Sunset Blvd shows up on Amazon, implying future release, but it could mean nothing.

I was surprised that MGM missed an opportunity last year to release a 50th anniversary edition of 'Some Like It Hot' on Blu-ray.

Well this year is the 50th anniversary of 'The Apartment' and the 60th anniversary of 'Sunset Blvd'. So come on MGM and Paramount - what are you waiting for?

And does anyone know who currently owns the distribution rights for 'Fedora'? That really needs a good quality DVD and/or Blu-ray release.

I know this thread is from last year, but after Some Like It Hot having been released this year, I wonder what you guys think could be the next Wilder movie on Blu...

I just watched my DVD of Sunset Boulevard today and it made me realize how much I'd love to see this movie on BD.

Especially if Criterion could get the rights for one of his movies it would be a dream coming true.

I'm really hoping for: Sunset Blvd., Witness for the Prosecution, Double Indemnity, The Apartment and One, Two, Three

I would think MGM will release "The Apartment " and "One, Two, Three" sometime this year (maybe as a Walmart /BB exclusive
