Default Using analog sticks for ps1 games

Ive tried a few games, and changed the setting from digital to analog in controller settings, but it still does not work. Does that mean that ps1 games wont work with the analog sticks, or just certain ones? Id muc rather use the stick than the dpad.

The game had to originally support the PlayStation Dual Analog or DUALSHOCK controller.

Bummer. I kept trying to use the stick in FF7 out of habit.

u don't want the stick anyway, makes battle sequences and menus more responsive per click of the d pad

True, but it would be nice for moving around the maps.

if you could control when and where you trigger the battles i'd take your word for it, but movement agility counts for absolutely nothing in this game.

I have the PC version and its much nicer being able to move with a stick, and then use the dpad for menu navigation. I guess i got spoiled because the PC version supports both at the same time .

Yeah, mine desire to use the stick is not advantageous in game, just preferable for my thumb.
