Boondock Saints? - Blu-ray Forum

Did a search and found nothing. This is a title I always wanted to pick up on DVD, but never did. Would love to have it on Blu-ray.

I checked the upcoming movies and did some searches, but nothing.. Does this mean it's not coming, or not announced to come yet?

its just not announced yet, its from a smaller distributor if i remember right, it might take a while to get on blu.

Not announced yet. When it comes out I will be there right with you getting it on reease day

If All Saints Day actually ends up being made (I'll believe it when I see it, even after Troy Duffy's statement) I assume Boondock Saints will come out around the theatrical release a la Batman Begins/The Dark Knight. Of course All Saints Day, along with Inglorious Bastards, is Hollywood's version of Chinese Democracy.

I agree with the others a great movie, but since it is a smaller film from a small distributor we may never see it. I have the SE that came out a year or 2 ago (steelbook), so I dont ahve to rush to see it. I would pick this one up though as it is a movie that I can watch over and over.

Lets hope it gets a good Blu Treatment...I was never pleased with the DVD treatment it got, a flipper disc is unacceptable.

The original was a flipper, Id have to double check, but I dont think the most recent release (steelbook) was a "flipper"

I was mistaken

it is a flipper still

. The audio was very good, but the transfer will still need to go through some work in order to be released on Blu-ray otherwise I think people will be disappointed.

They've been trying to make it since right after they made the first one but could never get enough funding for it. Based on the trailer its looking like they still didn't get that much funding for it.
