Default BD Live...How many people use this feature?

I was curious to know if any of you are using this feature and what do you like or dislike about it?

Don't use it,.... it's annoying. I would rather they put it on the disc as an extra. I want to watch the movie without those kind of interruptions.

I tried it once, when I had a PS3 as my player, on the Transformers disc. Went through all there was to offer, thought "This is it?", and moved on. IMO it's more of a new gimmick to offer, than something of real benefit.

what do you mean by interruptions? Never while watching a movie, did BD Live interrupt my viewing of it.

I have never used the feature, even though I have a compatible player and always connected to Wifi.

I have checked it out a couple of times but have never been overly impressed. That's not to say that it won't happen. I like to have BD-Live on my discs just because of the potential it has.

I only found it useful and interesting with the dark knight thanks to the chat with christopher nolan, other than that, it sucks, in my opinion. And it's not like the chat was that great.

It is the solution to which there was no problem.

My Panny BD30 doesn't have it, yet I have not been inclined or interested to get the next generation BD player with BD live....it seems like a useless feature to me, where instead they should focus on something else to make these players more stable when they are released.

I,ve tuned to it a few times, but I really have better things to do
with my spare time, now if it could do something useful, then maybe.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again:

If you have and like Tropic Thunder and haven't used BD-Live, you're missing out.

I use it mainly with Disney titles for my son. Other discs just make you ask the question, why not put these extra videos on the disc rather than wasting my bandwidth?

However I do like what they did with the T2: Skynet Edition making the online information gathered from your player as part of the menu.

I've used online features, but never anything that accesses the internet while I'm watching the movie. The only one that comes to mind is Casino Royale. It took forever to load and had some silly trivia game. It added nothing to the experience.

But then I hardly ever watch extras or commentaries unless I own the movie, love the movie and am interested in the behind the scenes stuff.
