Anyone seen or know anything about this western called The Salvation with Mads something from Hannibal, I'm not a big fan of westerns but this one sounds good,its only about 9.00$ so I guess its worth a blind buy

I thought it sounded good so I bought a copy. Should be here tomorrow so I'll no more then. Plus I really like Mads Mikkelsen.

I ordered this as well... for the reasons suggested above plus Eva Green is always watchable.....

I went to Amazon to order it and the price went from 8.95 to 22.95 think I'll rent it first

Great movie with Mads doing a good job as a hero for a change.

Definitely picking this up at Best Buy a little later.

Ended up having to order a copy from Best Buy's website due to some weird in-store shenanigans screwing me out of one.

Hopefully it won't take long to ship (at least the other new release I had to order online shipped out rather quickly).

I picked it up at Best Buy for $10 and watched it last night. I really enjoyed it. It's not amazing but it'd a tight and brutal little western revenge thriller. Madds is amazing as always but it was Jeffrey Dean Morgan who stole the show imo as the villain, truly despicable dude. Cinematography and score are beautiful. The only weird thing was a grain issue that even effected the black bars. Never seen that before.

Where are you looking? It wouldn't be in the Front of Store new release pod since it's not a mainstream, big budget movie. It should be in your stores movie promo area, which is connected to the movie inline. My store got about 13 of these.

Nevermind found out!! made a quick trip to my Best Buy and found one last copy of it at the promo area section like you said thanks for the help!

Sucks it didn't come with a slipcover or have Eva Green on the cover.

I checked 2 BBs today. They were both out of it. No copies at Walmart. The associate couldn't find it in the computer or on the shelf.

Trains, stagecoaches, Winchesters, six shooters, and evil villains.

Seems like some Amazon purchasers are saying that their blu-rays would only play the trailers, not the movie. Just a heads up.

EDIT: Also noticed that someone on dvdtalk.com had the same problem (see comments at bottom).

I picked it up after seeing this in the Tapatalk feed preview for Bluray.com from BB for $9.99. Good Western.

My Oppo 93 played the disc, but there were a few frames and scenes that seemed shaky or with some stutter that I was able to reproduce consistently by rewinding.

Anyone else notice this.
