What percentage Of BDs You Own Are Catalog Titles - Blu-ray Forum

I'm just curious at this point. It isn't being asked to formulate any type of analysis on purchases of BDs per se but I'd say 50% of the 100 BDs I own are catalog titles. I'm sure there are more catlog titles than new releases on the format to date though I'm not certain.

I'd say about 75% of mine are catalog titles. I have a lot of older Bond movies, the Godfather movies, older war movies, etc. I have a lot of Warner catalog titles too.

I'd say around 60%-70%

I don't pay more than $20.00 for a new release very often.
Some new releases I have paid top dollar for include Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Taken, Dark Knight, and Pirates Trilogy.

Virtually all as I do not buy new releases as they always come down in price later. Only about 5 where bought on release.

By considering catalog as a movie that was not a new movie when I bought it, my percentage would be at 68%. I was expecting more, but I guess it's not easy when new releases are coming out constantly and classics are put on hold.
