I know the guy faked a lot of shots, but I still get great enjoyment out of this show!!! Better than that ***** Survivorman Les Stroud!!! Les would dehydrate before drinking poop water....

I also get a kick out of that show, but Les is the real deal! The "Man vs Wild" ***** stays in Hotel room every night. Les hauls all his own gear, sets all his own shots, and actually survives in hostile environments. The pace may not be for the MTV gen, but I respect the truth. Hope Les starts lugging around some HD cameras so we can see him on Blu.

The 2 shows are completely different. Les's job is to sit around and show you how to sit around in one spot for a while. Bear's job is completely different. He shows you if you do get stuck how to get you.. and along the way he shows you just about everything that could go wrong. Im 100% sure that if he were really on his own he wouldnt have to do some of the shit he does. Like in that scottland one.. Well i can easily avoid these bog pits, but they want me to show you what to do.. so ima get naked and jump in.. **** you guys who think thats fake. or drinking water outta shit is fake or eating snails. The situations might be given to him, but he doesnt ***** out of any of it. He did.. gut that camel and jump inside it.. |

I never watched Man vs Wild for the drama of seeing what would happen to Bear. I watched it because it appealed to the camper in me to see techniques that might be useful if I was ever in that situation. I liked it the way it was and would prefer it stay that way. Survivorman is just beyond boring to me.
