Easy pass. Also well over priced on Zavvi. The same Steelbook is only 9.95 on cdon.

Man, that is rotten!

Does it contain the Arrow BD or the Universal one. If the latter... why even bother?

The Universal disc which is the nail in the coffin.

Whomever came up with that artwork should be ashamed at themselves. Doesn't even look like Kurt Russell, and the arm placement with the flamethrower looks way off.

Seriously. I'd have considered this if they actually used MacReady on the cover and not some random hippy.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who dislikes Mondo covers.

Is the bundle of dynamite just floating under it or what?

Ew.

Hasn't this already had two Steelbook releases in the UK?

Yuck, no. Easiest pass for a steelbook of a film I love in a long time, and I often feel as though I like designs no-one else seems to!

Even my HMV "VHS" style package is nicer than this (actually, it's very much nicer than this).
'Mondo' seems to be reaching the exalted heights of 'Pop-Art' as of late.

It's clearly the Thing trying to disguise itself as a steelbook, but seeing as it's used to only copying living things, it's not doing a very good job.

This is getting ridiculous, they are trying to milk it for every last penny.

Just put out a 4K UHD Blu-ray please and I will finally have a reason to buy this again.

Have the Arrow region B and Universal Mondo steels and both nicer than this.

This design is cool but give me a reason to need to upgrade other than another cool steel of The Thing, like a 4K version.

Let's see, here. I have the Universal disc, the Mondo steel, the Scream Factory release, the Arrow steelbook, and the Arrow limited edition. I think I'm good on releases of the Thing for the rest of my life.
