Default Random Bird Question..

Ok so here's the deal...

About a month ago I left for a long weekend and when I came back there was a full fledged bird nest in my mailbox.. The mailbox is attached to the house, similar to this, and it is in a completely covered entry way and the top of it stays open.. I was going to just remove it all, but when I looked in there were 3 eggs in there. Fearing that if i touched it or moved it, the mother wouldn't come back, I decided to leave the mailman a note to drop the mail on the floor, and let the bird take over the mail box.

fast forward to 2 days ago, and the eggs finally hatched.. and the mother seems to be feeding them ect..

Does anyone know how long these things will stay in there? The nest is pretty far down in the box, will the birdies be able to get out and fly away when its time?

Any knowledgeable bird lovers out there?
