Gladiator hands-down, even though I love the two Alien movies and Blade Runner.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say a movie that most people did not like, it bombed, and yes it may be cheesy. But if you have those friends that are absolutely loyal to you and you've been through HELL together, it is an emotionally POWERFUL film.

Ready?

White Squall... Absolutely Love it

Not saying it is his best, but White Squall should be on the list. Very under rated.

I absolutely agree with you there; White Squall was great. I'm probably in the minority, but I'll admit to believing that "Legend" was very good as well...

I know its not his best, but the meaning behind the movie is just incredible if you've felt it in real life

It was underrated

If I had to pick from the list... Gladiator... I just love it... Amazing film...

Ah, good to hear and I agree with your assessment. Alien is an awesome film also.

I was just surprised Black Hawk had gotten zero votes. Ton of love for Gladiator on here, I saw that poll where everyone thought it was superior to Braveheart also. I disagreed then and now. Gladiator is a good film, but like you I would place Alien and then Blade Runner over that one, along with aforementioned BHD. Heck, I would probably put Body Of Lies in there too, putting Gladiator at 5, although I realize I had a love for that movie most didn't.

I have to go with the Director's Cut of Alien. Next would be Gladiator. I would probably pick Blade Runner somewhere around dead last.
