Default Dmp 30 Vs Dmp60

I have a Panasonic DMP 30 and I was thinking about upgrading to the DMP 60. What will be the benefit of upgrading to the DMP 60? Will I get a better picture, better sound? Input would be helpful

I upgraded from the panasonic 30 to the 60. I am very happy with it. the PQ is much better. not sure about the sound. if your tv can do the 1080Px24.. then its a plus. because then you can make your dvds do the 24 as well as blurays titles.

The video processor was improved on the DMP35 and continued on the 60 which is almost the same exact model. The 30 didn't receive great marks for video processing but that changed with the 35. I think you would be happy with the upgrade.

I have the 30 & the 35 and the PQ improvements on the 35 are so stuttle that most would't even notice.

The 30 supports 1024/24 as well.
You do get BD live & HD audio decoding with the 35/60 if that's worth upgrading to you.

I would save the $300 and wait until player prices hit $99-150 before upgrading. The 30 is a great player and is comparable to the new generation of blu-ray players being released when it comes to PQ/AQ.
