Question Help! I have a Sony BDP-BX1 and starship troopers won't play

Alright I have a Sony BDP-BX1 and a copy of Starship Troopers that won't play. All other movies work but for some reason when i put in Starship troopers it shows a grey/red loading bar that always reaches full after that the screen goes black. I thought it was just loading however after an hour nothing came on. This has happened multiple times and I have exchanged the movie several times with the same outcome. My firmware is up to date. Does anyone know how to solve this issue? Sony cannot figure it out. Thanks!

Does your player have memory built in or does it use some type of memory card? If it uses external memory, you need it to play Starship Troopers.

That's a strange one... my BDP-S350 was fine, without using the extra memory. Did you clear the internal memory? I believe there is a cache stored inside, mabey that was full and couldn't access the movie. I would assume you have it connected via ethernet as well... perhaps it was trying to connect online and needed the aditional ram?

Hey,did not play on my S350. How do you delete/clear internal memory. I haven't even used BD live nor connected it to the internet and has the latest firmware v019...
