Default Home theater Decoration

I have a bunch of free space above 2 of my posters, as you can see in the .gif below, i am curious what ideas you guys have to fill the empty space.
i was thinking of
-making a collage to fill in some of the space,
-or use more HT plaques possibly.
any ideas would be great.

How about moving that "Dolby TrueHD" to above one poster and get another to go above the other poster.

Crown Molding. (see my pics) adds a little class to the room.

I know what you mean. Before I had all these posters, I had my plaques on the left wall - and the top of the wall where my TV was and acoustic columns were seemed so barren! But then when I moved the plaques atop the columns and the TV, it seemed complete. Aesthetics! Go figure. But try not to overdo it either. I've also wanted to do crown molding, seems like such a quick fix. I think that is an economical way of adding a good touch of class to the room.

yeah i like the crown molding idea,
i agree, i dont want to overdue it with the plaques.

my neighbor says he has 3-4 framed 11x17 posters, do you think those would look good?

I like the crown moulding idea too, but why not make it work for you instead of just look good?

You can improve the look of your room and the acoustics at the same time. Check it out.

I'd just move the posters a foot or so closer to the ceiling. They seem too low to me. This would give you more room closer to the floor for bookshelves and the like. No biggee either way.

You could look into some small sconces from Home Depot or Lowes.

Yeah raising could help fill the gap, i just wanted to keep those pictures level with the top of the door, keep it looking flush and clean.

i like your guy's ideas though,
do you think smaller framed movie pictures would look good up there, evenly spaced out along the top.

I'm a "less is more" kind of guy, so I don't think you need anything else. The posters are fine. Anything more and you risk cluttering your wall. Do that any the eye sees nothing distinct. As it is now you have some nice posters so I wouldn't do anything to take attention away from them.

I would agree. In technical writing, they call it "White space" Its the balance of bare page compared to any writing or images: "Black space." The bare space can be used to help frame and magnify your decorations. I would also say your posters look great as-is. Honestly, the only one that bothers me is the TrueHD sign that breaks the site lines being off-set and in between. Otherwise, you're golden. In my humble opinion.
