Default Ice Age Trilogy vs Madagascar 1 & 2

I was wondering which animation Blu-rays should be my next (apart from everything Disney), and was thinking about the IA triology or both Madagascar movies.

Thanks to all for your opinions :P

Neither. Both series are mediocre, obviously in my opinion. Look at my collection, you'll see I love animation. Those two series aren't very good to me though.

EDIT: the first Ice Age isn't as bad as the other two and the two Madagascars.

How Id rank the series

Ice Age - B-
Ice Age the Meltdown - C+
Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs - C+

Madagascar - B-
Madagascar 2 Escape to Africa - C

Agreed neither series is particularly great. Cars is Pixars worst and it still easily surpasses any of these movies.

There are certainly better animated titles available on BD such as:

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs
Despicable Me
How to Train Your Dragon
Kung Fu Panda
Monsters vs. Aliens
Any Pixar title.

I don't have any however if I will need to buy one then I will go with the Ice Age.
I remember seeing Madagascar 1 in the theaters and not liking it that much.

Have all of those except for Kung Fu Panda, which I'm also getting soon.

I like Ice Age, but Ice Age 4 is in production, and Madagascar 3 also is in production.
So I'll wait until they finish the whole thing.
I like in this order:

Ice Age
Madagascar
Ice Age 2
Ice Age 3
Madagascar 2
