United Kingdom Futurama

Top series, cancelled and then brought back via fan demand.

Good news as UK finally getting Season 5 on 28th December.

Reason for thread is heads up as, Amazon has the Blu for pre-order £17.99.
Elsewhere £27.99 !!!

Sucks if you are a UK only BD viewer as this set was released almost a year ago in the US and the second part of the season (Volume 6) is being released this December which I am sure wont be released in the UK until December 2012

Yup, this will be the first 13 episodes of Season 6, which isn't so bad (the first season was only 13 episodes too).

It's interesting, because in the states it was released with the title "Volume 5", which is a bit vague but certainly more accurate than the UK art on Amazon which reads "The Complete Season 5". The actual Season 5 is considered to be the four straight-to-dvd movies (when broken down into their 16 episodes).

I can only assume that when they release "Volume 6" it'll be titled "The Complete Season 6" and then the numbering will be up to date.

We bemoan the release schedule in the Season 5 thread.
