I was wondering if afro samurai is a good game? I saw it @ one of my local target stores on the clearance section for $31. Is it worth it? Thanks in advance...

It's an ok game and fun to watch how violent it is being based off the anime(even though I think it doesn't fit anywhere into the story except for the whole thing with the #1 headband) but I say download the demo first.

Yeah, I was very excited about this game after watching the series and was very dissapointed with the demo...

I would also suggest you try the demo first...

By all means, try the demo for yourself!

Sometimes playing crap is fun for the amusement and reminder of what's quality. Or you may enjoy cutting people in half!

I bought it..it was fun - but it is basically a button smashing game. My thumb actually hurt at times - there are parts where there are just waves upon waves of enemies and all you really do is...button smash. The dialogue is really pretty funny though (certainly some blue humor).

Fun..not worth the $60 I paid, $30, I'd say yes...

Meh its alright. A good looking game. Great voice work. Story is what it is..dumb lol imo

Gameplay is button masher heaven. Fun at first...after awhile though zzzz...Really no need to learn all of the special moves. Boss fights are ok.

Some of the platforming is awkward. Camera can be a pain at first. Its short too.

I'm playing it right now, the voice acting was worth it for me, and sometimes I just want a mindless game, i.e. Prince of Persia.

I enjoyed it. Plenty of action, fun voiceovers, sweet finishers and the music is just sick. It's not worth anymore than maybe $25 IMO. The boss battle are a bit retarded but the game its self can be very fun.

FYI- new copies are regularly fetching around $25 on eBay (just got one myself yesterday)
