Is Purchasing From Ebay A Mistake? - Blu-ray Forum

was lurking on ebay and found a deal I was interested in, speakers are used however Im curious if it might be a mistake to attempt to buy there

Anyone ever done that?, adive for or against it?

I have picked up a few things up from Ebay over the last few years. The main thing you want to look at is the sellers feedback rating. Click on their feedback and read what other people have said about them. That will confirm one way or another if you should buy from them. Also, make sure they are Paypal users with a confirmed address. That makes you a little more safe.

I purchased my bookshelf Dahlquist DQ-6CI speakers that I use for my rear speakers in my home theater from a seller on eBay. I had no problem and they were fine. Now, years later, though since they were made in 1994 one of the surrounds has just gone and the two speakers should have them replaced. But that has nothing to do with the purchase made about 5 years ago.

Buy from a reputable seller with excellent feedback and make sure the condition of the speakers and that if there is a problem that they can be returned.

Lost my bid on polk 50 plus center c20....that would have helped with my start up

Look for a seller with a good feedback rating (98-100% preferable),and one that offers a return option if you're not 100% satisfied w/ the item!
