I'm liking both of them to tell you the truth which is ofcourse confusing me. The one thing I would have liked would be light emanating behind the TV in an even pattern and not like the way I'm seeing them done...one on top and one on each side...like short bursts of light. I guess what I am aiming for when I am trying to describe the effect I am looking for is like a glow in the back all around.

![]() I only asked why you were doing this because lighting behind a screen will improve the perceived contrast of an LCD Screen because the blacks will appear darker. With a plasma display, particularly yours, this point becomes moot(can't get much better, right ![]() |

The living room where my tv is located is very dark at night. I also sit about 16' from the TV (I Know I should be closer). I noticed less fatigue on my eyes after installing the cyrons, weather on not this is just in my head I don't know but even my wife seemed to notice. It also can make your display look a little larger (Again, might be in my head) but I use them more than not.

Nice job on your set-up. Looks like you got the brightness of the lights just right. I used to have the lights behind the TV, but felt I got better dispersment when I decided to seperate them further but putting one under the shelf in my TV stand and the 2 sides lightbars onto the back of my front speakers. This made a more dramtic effect. I do not use them too often, but whenever I do when watching a movie, it adds just that little nice ambient feel that you are in a theater.
