I dont know if anyone watches G4TV? Shows like Attack of The Show and Xplay really like to bash the PS3, has anyone else noticed? They are really getting a bad word out.

They're probably mad that they can't run bootleg games on it. :P

They are bias but really sony needs to get there stuff together and get some exclusive games out. I love my ps3 and i especially love the fact that i can play my bd's on it. But really they need some good titles on there that are ps3 exclusive. i spent $600 on it to just use it as a dvd player when i really want to murder people and not have to spend years in prison known as loose buns eddie. G4 still biased as balls but i just call how i see it

I think they are being paid by Microsoft to bash Sony. I don't really put any stock in what they say on G4

I posted a previous thread about that a few weeks back. They are very MS favored so they feel the need to bash every other console. Then again, MS also supplies about 75% of the games they review (PC and Xbox) so titles on that are also on PS3 and Wii rarely gets to see the light of day unless they have something bad to say about it.

Couple of examples,

During the review of the Elder Scroll IV, PQ they were showing on the xbox was horrid compare to my PS3 version. Even my wife who pretty much just sits next to me reading a book when Im playing that game said, 'OMG that graphic is horrible, is that on the xbox?' And you want to know the funniest thing, I swear during one of the clips they were showing on character creation, it was the clip from PS3! The PQ was completely different compare to the rest of clips they showed.

Also, a few games that are released on all 3 platforms (Xbox, PS3, Wii) will get separate reviews. Xbox version might get a 4 or 5 if it is a good game. But PS3 and Wii will get maybe a 3/5 or less due to 'no new content so its the same game' Hows that possibly be fair?

Just a few rants, Ive emailed G4TV about the show, only to get the standard reply of 'we appreciate your input and we will get back to you.' Nowadays I still watches the show for upcoming game releases and clips of games, but I take their opinion with a grain of salt.

Yeah, on tonights AOTS he was speaking as if Playstation was dead. There was a very interesting article I read in Game Informer about the Playstation 3 launch. Was it a success or was it a flop? According to the numbers it was very successful and continues to be. They asked a guy why then all the hate and he said, "the media is stupid". Get the latest GI it is very interesting.

Tonight's episode was a prime example of how much negative press the PS3 has gotten (much of it agenda-driven attacks from people who have never owned the system themselves). To be fair, I think that they did make some valid points about the mistakes Sony has made marketing the system to this point. However, it is too early to pronounce death on a system only in the first 7 months of a [projected] ten-year lifespan.

I think one of the next steps Sony should take should be to curve all this bad PR.

To add to the Sony bashing...their DVD reviewer guy always reviews HD-DVD!!!! They never review a Blu-Ray!!!!!

I mean can you not act like Microsoft pays you off.

Yea I noticed G4's negativity towards the PS3, but I can't help watching AOTS - Olivia Munn is too damn sexy.

Talking about dead. The only thing dead are xbox 360's..my rough guess has always been at least a 30-40% failure rate based on what I've been seeing around me .. looks like I might not be too far off the mark...still suspect it's low.

Wonder why they aren't repeating that day after day after day?

I'm sure if asked they will downplay it and have all sorts of arguments why it's not true despite the mounting evidence to the contrary. The american media in particular is a sad joke of covering this up while continuing to repeat their diatribe against the PS3. NYT is another one that repeats negative stories over and over...i just stop giving these people traffic.

How would you like to know this guy was responsbile for fixing it .. problem? what problem?

Funny how they have started adding another heatsink to some systems..too bad for all those other users out there that are going to have their systems fail prematurely.

I hear ya shido.

I watched yesterdays aots as well. Adam sessler seemed more on Sonys side then usual. He seemed like he was defending it more then anything. Theyre right in the respect that it needs a price cut before christmas.

yup the always down blu-ray, they didnt down it though when boht POTC were released lol wonder why... bc they were freakin amzing thats why!

I hardly ever take what anyone says on that show seriously. It seems to me like they are marketing a smart-@$$ image rather than accurate journalism.
