Default Blade Trilogy Discontinued?

I decided to check out the Amazon.ca website and noticed that they are now listing all three Blu-rays and the trilogy boxed set as being out of print or no longer available for purchase. While Amazon marketplace still sells them, through the secondary market, it looks like Alliance no longer has them available.

Now, Amazon.com still has them available but since they get get their stock from Canada, it's not long before those sources dry up.

I'm just wondering if this means that there will be an official release for the U.S. market. I want to see official releases of all three movies here in the United States.

Ya I'd love an official US Blade I & II BD. I bought the Canadian Blade II recently and though the overall quality was quite good, I was surprised to see there was only an audio select menu. No extras at all so I just stuffed it in a 2-disc blucase and farmed the Platinum bonus disc.

It just means they are popular and selling well. Alliance does not press as many units as the Hollywood studios do of their Blu-rays, to limit risk in case something does not sell. My guess is that Alliance will press more copies at some point.

Not sure what you are talking about since all the standalone releases are in stock and nowhere do they say out of print on the page. The box set is 5-8 days which meanns they are getting more in soon so obviously not out of print with that either. Maybe they were having issues with the site earlier today or something possibly?

Give me all three in their OAR with the unrated version of Blade Trinity in a box set then I'll give up my DVDs, but not until then.

Ah! That's funny. When I checked it earlier this morning, the Amazon.ca site said it was no longer available ...

Actually, I thought the last film was the best of the series. With the second movie trailing not too far behind.

I like the first Blade the most. I like the second one as well, and I love Guilermo Del Toro's work, but Blade II is not one of his best.

Blade 1 > Blade 3 > Blade 2

I almost bought the blade series a while back...but decided to wait for a US release. Would love to add this to the collection.

I think I got the dvd box set for $7 6 years ago. I am happy with it. No need to do an upgrade on this movie yet.

for anyone living in the US, I recently picked up Blade 1 & Trinity (Alliance versions) at suncoast, they also had Blade II and From Dusk Till Dawn in stock. I also saw them at FYE as well. They sell for 14.95. figured i would give you guys a heads up if your FYE's have them in stock as well.
