Question How Far should u place your speakers from tv?

I have my left and right speakers 4 feet from my tv both facing straight should i angle them? how do u have yours?

It's really all up to what sound's good to you !! Put A movie in and move you're front's around looking for that sweet spot ! I have my front's toed in tward's my center position but again put them where & how they sound good to you !!!

Some receivers (Onkyo is mine) have a tool built into the setup function where you set the distance on the receiver. It works really well.....the way it works is you sit on your chair/couch and measure the distance from your seat to the speaker and set it accordingly....makes a huge difference in the surround aspect.

If 4ft. from the side of your TV(8ft) and your TV is let's say a 42"-50"...your speakers are actually about 6ft. from the centre of your TV for a total of 12 ft. apart. I would definately play with toe-ing them in. There are few speakers that have that wide of an off-axis dispersion.

I think an honest rating is fair to all of us here. Just because your photos of your system looks messy to most of us here doesnt mean youre going to give the same rating to others on this site. Thats what I got from this "hateyou" member. I wonder whats "hateyou" is all about. Perhaps s/he just jealous that many of us have a better and cleaner system than this.
