Default Target to offer price matching policy again

Starting this Sunday Target will offer there price matching policy again to any current week ad for competitors. Same rules as anyone else really.
-No membership comp (Sam's Club, Costco, Etc)
-No Websites including there own.
-No special offers (BOGO, free gift card, Etc)
-Customer must bring in full copy of current week ad to guest service and they will match it.
I know it's not really a hot deal, but it is a permanent hot deal
It will be posted across the new ad on pages 2 & 3 to confirm
Hope that helps guys.

Bleh, here's hoping Hastings starts printing their weekly ads again, Wal-Mart doesn't do it and Target's selection sucks too much for a price match with Best Buy to be useful.

That's great news since the nearest Target is only a few miles away. Would you happen to know if Target has a "___-mile radius rule" for competitors' ads? There's a Fry's about 45-50 miles away and one manager at the local BB brought that up once when I tried to PM (good thing another manager just waved it off)

As long as it's in city or maybe a few cities away shouldn't be any problems

YES! This is a HOT DEAL to me! I have been waiting forever for Target to wise up and start price matching. I guess the horrible economy finally forced their hands. I'd so glad they are doing this as we have quit going to wal-mart for groceries and things and have begun going to Target. Targets selection isn't the biggest or greatest but they do always have the newer games.

True, and they are at least maintaining or growing their in-store titles, unlike Walmart, which has practically dwindled down to a mere handful of titles in most stores.

I've picked up several great price deals at Target. Their fairly recent Blu-ray BOGO was a really promotion.

You have to bring it to guest services? That's kind of a hassle. Why can't you do it at a normal register?

On the other hand... if you need to do a PM you can basically bypass the long lines at the register and get rung up at GS. Hmmmm...
