Which phone should I get? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm debating on which phone to get. I come down to two choices the IPhone or the Samsung i8910 HD. The Samsung has the better specs but the IPhone..well it's an IPhone.

The other thing is the phone services. Being in the UK, I'm not familar with the phone companies. IPhone is run by O2 and the Samung is run by Orange.

Any thoughts?

I thought Orange had the iPhone. I checked and they don't. Weird, I could have sworn they had it.

Anyways, the iPhone is a sweet phone. As for the Samsung - I do not know. I do know that when people and business make apps, it will be for the iphone first always. It's synonymous with applications.

I think i'm going with the smasung. I already own the 32gb ipod touch so i don't think i really need the iphone.

I wasnt a fan of my iphone so i got rid of it os id go with Samsung i8910 HD that phone looks like a great phone and i would love to have it

Unless it has a yellow screen. Which in that case, mine is going back and I am holding off until the problems are resolved. Even though its going to kill me waiting for a good phone.

I'm excited about the phone, but not about the service. Never heard anything good about Orange. But it can't be worse than AT&T.

I love the apps on the Iphone, but none of the phone specs are very exciting. I own the Touch so I'm still a happy camper.

i think a lot of the voters have never heard of the omnia HD to make a fair judgement and there is a ton of iphone love going around but if i had to choose i would choose the omnia HD in a heart beat. i have an iphone and its great but the omnia has some jaw dropping specs compared to anything out in the states. too bad we will never get it here in the states but if you have the luxury of being able to use it with your carrier i would get the omnia HD.

there's sony love, just that the OP may be hinting at a phone that is released or nearly released. the x2 could be ages away from being released.

The x2 will most likely be out this Fall. The popularity and excellent sales of current smart phones could push Sony to release it by then.

Just went back to the Iphone 3g. God I miss this thing why did I even bother getting rid of it in the first place!. This thing is so addicting. Now I just gotta try and sell my 2g version.

Yeah, it's like you're doing exactly what Apple set out to break out of before, being another one of the masses.

I still want an E90 Communicator. That phone is crazy but I can't stand how it's still as expensive as it is.

Yep, powerful phone if rather big. I know the GPS is spotty but I still like it.
