Default Do you know any Film or TV Stars?

I just got back from visiting my childhood buddy Brian Haley who was in town to see his father. Brian has done countless TV shows and a few movies. One of his most recent roles was as Clint Eastwood's son in Gran Torino. Its been fun to watch his career develope over the years.

Do you have a buddy that is in the entertainment business? If so, who?

Uwe Boll but I stopped after he rejected the draft of Janjaweed because he threw a fit.

Love Karl Urban!

I don't have any buddies who are actors/actresses. Some of my female friends have gotten friendly with some male actors, though.

I used to run into these two all the time at the newstand I frequent:

Cedric Yarbrough
Kevin James

Also, that chick from A Knight's Tale used to always go there before she became big to buy the trades to look for work then after that movie she didn't go anymore. She has this tramp stamp tattoo that says "Believe In"

That chick who was in that horrible One Missed Call remake? I would say; "No Biggie" to that loss.

I don't personally..... but a friend is/was dating the girl who was the Dog-Walker on "King Of Queens" and I think she was on Mad TV.... not sure....

And my Brother lives in the same town as Jeff Daniels, and my nephew took his daughter to prom, and he dropped her off at his graduation party this past week, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him.

EDIT:

Also my wife's cousin was one of the "Bachelorettes" but I don't know what season.

My friend's dad, Milton Johns, is a very familiar face on British TV and a super nice guy. He was in the Empire Strikes Back as Captain Bewil, who announces to to Darth Vader that Luke's ship is coming in to land on Cloud City (Bespin). The strange thing is that of his two lines, one is in his own voice and the other is dubbed in a deeper, American accent.

Here he is:

When I worked in London he would often get the same train home as me, so we would sit and chat, and I used to get no end of kicks out of folks grabbing "casual" glances at him to see if he really was who they thought he was.

I think the thread is becoming "Have you ever met a Film or TV star" as opposed to "Do you know any."

Big difference. I've met all sorts of actors, even briefly hung out with one or two, but I certainly don't "know" any very well.
