France Dario Argento 6-Movie Collection Box Set FNAC Exclusive (France)

Appears to be a bit more robust than the prior Scandinavian collection that had all 6 movies in a single amray case.

To put it out as cheaply as possible, not having to either license 4K transfers from Arrow or strike up their own - and because Opera isn't out in UHD anywhere yet.

It's still a nice-looking set, though.

I agree that the set looks nice but when many fans will already have superior releases it seems odd.

There's actually a big chunk of the french cinephile world that isn't willing to import (the lack of french subtitles is the most frequent argument), and despite being often largely inferior to alternatives (especially when it comes to supplements) these editions generally do well.
I've seen many people on forums who talk about this set as an upgrade. Sometimes I do go for french versions because occasionally they're better, such as with the Studio Canal Hammer releases.
