I know there was a thread when it was released in theaters, but this is for the blu.

I just got my copy today and I enjoyed it.
The transfer is solid (this movie has a lot of night sequences) and the audio is pretty fitting. I saw it in theaters and I thought it was good considering it got all this bad rep.

Any opinions? Anyone buying it aswell?

I def would say Deniro was awesome but Pacino delivered another mediocre performance (88 minutes?). And I didn't like 50 Cent in it.

I enjoyed it. No where near as good as Heat or a lot of their previous movies, but I'll be picking it up Tuesday.

Excellent movie with a brilliant ending and I look forward to seeing it again soon. 5/5 for AQ, 4/5 for PQ and 4/5 for story.

I've heard this movie is like watching a Law and Order episode starring Pacino and Deniro.

I highly recommend if you have not seen this movie to rent it first.

Pacino and Deniro aside, this movie is horrible.

Pacino and De Niro aren't even that great in this. They both totally phone it in. It is one of the most boring, predictable movies I've seen in the last few years.

Excellent movie? Brilliant ending? Wanting to watch it again? None of those thoughts passed through my mind after I exited the theater. I'm not sure if you've ever seen a police drama or an episode of Law & Order so maybe that's why you think it's an excellent film and that's fine. The story's "twist" is so obvious from the beginning that all you're doing is basically watching it play out, there's no suspense. I can't see how you thought the story was well done. Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate it....just wasn't very fond of it.

I too was quite disappointed in this film. When I had heard that DeNiro and Pacino were doing a "police drama" again with Brian Dennehy in it, I was pretty excited, but the film turned out to be a huge bust in my opinion. It was quite predictable and neither DeNiro or Pacino seemed to really have gotten into their roles. The storyline was rather bland, script was a tad bit weak as well. But they are entitled to their flops, so at the end of the day, I can always put "Heat" in (standard DVD for the time being) and everything is all better.
