Problums getting firmware for bdp-s1 - Blu-ray Forum

Hello blu-ray supporters I live in Canada. Ive had problums getting version 2.00.For theBDP-S1. Sony of Canada knows nothing about the firmware or even the model # bdp-s1 Sony in the U.S. can't send me the disc to up date it to Canada. I have know friends that has a dvd burner on there computer so I plea for help out in blu-ray land. if any one has downloaded this firmware for there own BDP-S1 And has no need for the disc anymore I would be in there debit. Ill even cover postage and fee for the disc. My E-Mail is robinmartinlatham@hotmail.com (P.S. does this version let me play the disc DECSENT Thanks to all)

Your experience is puzzling. I dealt with Sony Canada last month for the 1.6 firmware upgrade, and I received the 2.0 firmware upgrade today - without another call. The support advisor I dealt with was excellent.
