Default Texas Chainsaw Massacre (03/06)

The two new recent TCMs have incredible cinematography and are just damn entertaining/gruesome (plus Biel and Brewster in Hi-Def ). I'd love to see them get a BD transfer but have yet to hear of any release date. Any news?

Ya I want to get these too. Like you said the cinematography is beautiful and I would imagine they'd look absolutely killer in 1080p.

Also kinda off topic, but when do you guys imagine the new Friday the 13th movie will be released on BD. I'm dying to see it on Blu. The theatre where I saw it had absolute garbage PQ and half time it was hard to make out anything. But I know from TCM that Platinum Dunes and Brad Fuller or is Andrew Form, have an awesome eye for the cinematography. As well do you know who's distributing it. Not WB's right????

There was an article in the Blu Ray releases forum that said that the new Friday The 13th will be released in the summer as an uncut version with lots of nudity that was taken off because test audiences found it exaggerating in XXX scenes.

Ugh I'd rather extra gore than more unnecessary nudity

It'll have extra gore, nudity and an additional sub-plot/story & not just a few minutes worth. Should be interesting non the least.

I loved the TCM movies. Hopefully they both get blu treatment soon.
