I think you need to get bigger speaker up front to mate with your sub!

Nice job.

Nice set-up. I love the sub , and you have nice equipment. I bet a room like that, with the wide open area to the right plays havoc on your audio. But I like the design of the house, it's pretty cool looking. Nice job with your HT!

I like it a lot! Your entertainment unit is somewhat similar to mine.

Thanks guys for the responses. The room is rather tricky when it comes to acoustics, but this is an upgrade from a 10 year old SONY HTIB so I'm not complaining. I know a few things are not as ideal as they could be, but compared to what I had before it is a godsend.

I love the SVS too. Its a lot of fun to watch my friends jaws drop when it hits.

I love the house too, its wonderful for group movie watching.

Took some advice and got a New Center speaker. Snagged a Def Tech CLR 2002 off ebay for around $220. Works great, but a little scuffed on the outside. The pics are at the bottom of my HT gallery.

Very Nice Set-Up.You have a Great System.
But have done so in a way, that doesn't overpower the room.

Love the Entertainment Center.Gives a Nice Touch of Elegance And Class to the room and the System. I Like how you took the rooms shape and size, and made it work to your advantage.

The Use of Definitive Technology Speakers Thru-Out,give it a Sweet Look and an Incredible sound. And I like that you went with the LCR Center. It looks fine to me.And I hope people will be more interested with whats on that Tack Sharp Panasonic, then how your new center looks.

I know what its like.Wanting to upgrade, but trying to do it on a budget. Some times you have to give up a little something for the extra performance. And I bet your new Center is worlds better then the Center it replaced(As far as dialouge and sound effects)

And the Side and Rear Surrounds use the space you had perfectally. With the Side Bipoles,it must surround you from every corner.Placing you in the heart of the Movie Itself.

Then a SVS Sub,Bass that will move your internal organs.
You made outstanding choices with each brand and the Lay Out and Arrangement.

Also a Pleasure to see that you took some time and care with your Wiring.

Overall one Incredible System.
You Did An Awesome Job!

Hello Lamont.

I really like your room and the decor. The system is sweet also. I did rate your system and below is the comment I left in your gallery.

Quote:
Hello Lamont. You have a very nice looking room and setup. I love the creativity and you eye for decor. But there is a few things you can do to fine tune the attention to detail. I'm referring to the exposed speaker wire. My suggestion is to visit your neighborhood Lowes or Home Depot and invest in a substantial amount of track molding with adhesive. Especially for the rear/surround speakers. Believe me, it will improve the aesthetics of the room and give a more finished look. I know your room presents a lot of challenges when it comes to speaker placement, but if you can, adjust the right rear speaker a little more to the right. It will render a more of a balanced look. IMO currently your setup is a "9" that can easily reach a"10" with a few minor adjustments and modifications.

talstarone: thank you for the VERY kind words. I am very happy with all my choices and very thankful for the wonderful reception it has received.

ldgibson76: Thank you for the advice on speaker clean-up, the house is a rental and I will be moving in a few short months. I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind when rewiring everything for the new room. Thank you as well for the kind words

Looks good to me. I can see how the room can be tricky. I like how you have all that open space and seating though. Great job!
