Samsung BD-P3600 Firmware 1.03 update - Blu-ray Forum

I downloaded and installed this firmware update (1.03) and it has a major bug. Any DVD I have that has a motion menu the menu will not play only sound. FBI warning, commentary information, no problem. You have to hit the buttons blindly to get the movie to start at where the menu should be. For example the new Transformers DVDs from Shout Factory and any Star Wars DVDs. I have spoke with Crutchfield Tech Support (purchased from them) and Samsung to no avail I was told to unplug the unit for 1 hour and reset it after applying the firmware a second time.

Well I am asking the community does any have the prior version firmware to 1.03 and can the player's firmware be downgraded?

Not sure what to tell you, mine works fine. Did you turn the unit off prematurely or were there any errors?

No I didn't, the first update was through the internet (Wifi) connection and the second was with a burned CD. Even the crutchfield tech called samsung (level 2) and they didn't know what the problem was.
