I need help finding a 151FD at a decent price

Hi All , This sucks, I planned on getting my Pio 151FD from eastcoasttvs.com but I saw on their site it was no longer listed, so I called to check. The guy on the phone said, that was it! they wouldn't be getting anymore , they were selling it for $4299 W/ free white glove shipping, I planned on buying it in a couple of weeks when my refund check comes but now I don't know who I should buy from. There has been a few horror stories about these people shipping tvs that end up F-ed up, for instance Nugent:his tv was busted during transit to his house and had to deal with finding a new one , I'm pretty bummed out man , does anybody have info on a good place to buy with reliable shipping? Please let me know, Thanks

It really depends on which freight company is used by the seller. Some companies are great with their shipping and others are not so good. But good luck on finding a 151. You also might want to think about a 600m if you dont need the speakers and the stand. I bought mine a few months ago and I'm loving it.

Nope they're monitors...M series 50" & 60".

I need a tv with a stand, speakers, and a tuner and unfourtunetly neither of those models come with those things

This really blows! I was all excited to get my tv and now they don't have anymore, I know, I know, I sound like a little kid whining but I was really counting on that company to have that tv in a few weeks. the guy on the phone was real dick! I must say.

What is the difference between the 5020 and 5010?

Also Sarge, have you tried ebay? I saw the 151 on there for the same price you mentioned. Not sure if they are authorized though. Also have you tried BB? Go in there like you are going to buy a car. If you fail just try again at a different store or wait a few days.

Personally, I wouldn't buy from a company thats not an authorized pioneer dealer. If you choose to buy from a company who isnt then Pioneer voids the warranty. But most places who aren't an authorized Pioneer dealer will sell you a warranty.

9th gen and 8th gen respectively. 9Gs have better blackerness from what I hear!

Thank God I bought the 111 in Feb...these puppies are going for $4500 a piece! Not tryin to add salt to the wound Sarge. But you will be pretty hard pressed to find a deal on the 151s now. Sorry things aren't working out.

Seriously? Are you looking at the online price or in store? When I bought mine the 151 was 4799. I got the 141 because I am a freak!

They seem to have some at Cleveland Plasma [ie the 6020s] as well but you gotta call them for the price..if you put it in the cart it comes out to $9999 lol!

HAHAHA. Since you brought that up I have to tell this story. I have a friend who work real estate with the very rich guy not wealthy RICH! He lives and Windermere which is where Shaq, Tiger and others live as well. He ownes like 6 multi million dollar homes within 10 miles in Central Florida. Has several houses on Jupiter Island etc.

Ok so long story sort. I helped my friend help this guy move stuff around from house to house. He does side stuff for him to make a few extra. Ok, so one of the houses he lived in. I am not making this up. 8 elites in one room, on every single wall. Called it the man room. Ok, so I am freaking out now. That's only a part of it. I go into the main TV room. Another, look to my right in the kitchen another way up on the wall. Go into his bedroom. Three in there. One straight ahead then one on each side of the bed so if he rolls over he can see them! I was WHATTTT!!!! Then my friend tells me he has a Tour bus with 4 more in that thing too. It was insane fellas absolutely insane! I am pretty sure that is a fraction of it!

I wish I could I definitely cant afford it! I planned on giving my kids my panny 42 in one of their rooms. I hate seeing Dora on my TV gives me the chills!
