How can I tell if my tv can do 1080p? In the manual it say's 1080i max I set it at 720p. I was boared on day and set my ps3 to 1080p and it worked, but the screen had some flickering lines on it. I assume this is the tv working hard to do 1080p. It does not do this in other modes, So what is causeing this? Also Whats better for a 32inch 720p or 1080i. Oh yeah my tv is in my sig.

You will not be able to tell the diff between 1080i and 720p at that size unless you are less than 5 feet away. I would set it up for 720p as I feel a progressive signal looks better. Your TV should accept a 1080p signal but will most likely downconvert the signal to a lower res.
