Default Skype on PS3?

Hey everyone, is it possible to get Skype on PS3? I know you could get it with PSP so I'd love to be able to chat with my PS Eye with friends that don't have a PS3. Thanks in advance.

Oh and well I'm here, does anyone know of any other good video streaming sites that work with the web browser now that hulu screwed us? Thanks again

I've not tried this, but if you install Ubuntu (Linux) on your PS3 in a separate partition you can probably install Skype and get it working that way. Warning: Not for the faint of heart or lacking in computing prowess.

Its essentially a voice over IP server Instant message service, essentially you can hold voice chat with other people signed in on skype (pc users, psp users etc) you can also use it to place phone calls (1800 numbers are free to call, other require either credit or on a very cheap monthly unlimited plan)

http://skype.com/

This service is already made available on the psp allowing psp users to use a wifi connection and place calls and talk to other skype users.

I sometimes Walk up to the fbo and use there wifi to call my job when there is a package and we need to bring carrying items (heavy airline parts etc)

Because sometimes I leave my cellphone at my desk on purpose.

Yeah PSP has skype, I just don't see how it could be too difficult to just throw it in to PS3.

But no one has any websites with tons of free video like hulu?
