Default well

I enjoy my Sharp Aquos 46" LCD 1080p with 120hz. I had an LG before and also enjoyed that (until it took an unfortunate dive) If anything you could probably grab a nice tv for around 1200 and then spend the rest on some new blu's.

I have one, and its great. Why spend all the money on Sony or Samsung when you can get a Vizio with the same equipment, and power for several hundred dollars cheaper. You can also do some research. Thats what I did.

I learned about Vizio when I worked at a high end hotel here where I live. After I was hired; my manager took me on a tour of the place. She took me to one of the nicer, and bigger suites, and they had a 40" LCD in the Living Rm. Being curious; I turned it on ,and was surprised at the good picture. That night I came home, and did some research on the internet, checked some mag sites.

I checked at where they were sold so I can see it in person. I bought mine at Costco. Mine was $1,100, but I was also eye-ing a Philips but it was $1,300. After looking back and forth; the Vizio won out. One, it was cheaper. Two, it had a better picture. and Three it looked better.

I dunno how you dont know much about it. It was advertised during the football season last year. Mostly on CBS though. Hell; they got L.T. with the San Diego Chargers to endorse them.

Go to www.vizio.com

Ok..cool! Costco, Wal-Mart. I'm just gonna let you know; just because they are sold at those stores, doesn't mean they aren't good quality. Test them out with an opened mind.

You could get a 46" Sony v5100, very nice tv. Or the Samsung 46" b640. They are both on sale right now at Best Buy but still should be had for under $1500 just about anytime. They are comparable models with similar features. the Sony is cheaper which you could invest the difference in some blu's to feed it. Yum!!

I helped my mom and step-dad in picking out their new TV, and they decided on that 42 inch Vizio and they love it. It looks great in HD and the standard definition stuff looks pretty good, too.

I bought a Vizio from Costco and returned it for a Samsung for about $50 more. Although the Vizio was a decent set, the black levels were pretty bad.

Vizio is more comparable to Phillips , than Phillips is to Sony or Samsung. You can find a great Sony/Sammy for under $1500! Why settle for a lesser brand?

I would strongly consider this new 46" Samsung (LN46B650) for under $1400 shipped!!!!
