Hello, I am brand new to Blue Ray and this board. I was wondering if anyone has purchased this yet? I got it at Sams and overall I'm really happy with it. $546.00 5.1 speaker system with Netflicks and Pandora loaded on it and an ipod docking station. My fustration comes with the ipod menu. I can access my files but have to scroll one at a time. I tried holding down to move faster through my list of music but it doesn't move. You have to just keep clicking. Also no matter what order my song files are in, the Samsung displays everything in alphabetic order, which kinda sucks if you want to listen to a whole album in the order in which it's on the album which is the same order that it's on the ipod. Does anyone know if there is a way around this?
Thanks- Frank |

Don't know of a workaround ... prolly have to live with it as is. It is a nice player/HTiB unit though - installed one about a month ago for a client and it sounded decent and had great PQ. Not bad for the bucks.

It's been awhile since i've used the one here at work but i'm pretty sure you could skip by pages, i just don't recall but it should be listed in your manual. The reason i don't use it is because the ipod menu does suck. Not to bring u down on ur purchase but for me the ipod support is worthless. It's very slow at loading the songs, locks up for a minute plus after every 50 songs or so, and i don't believe you can view other songs to que one up while a song is playing. However, other than the ipod issues, it's a very good blu-ray player and good sound for non audiophiles.

Actually I returned the Samsung. Just wasn't happy overall with the sound. Took a friends advice and purchased the reciever and blu-ray sepperate. Got a decent Yamaha audio/video processor with 4 HDMI inputs and purchased a Panasonic Blu-ray (Open box at Best Buy and well worth the $$)
