If I purchase Lost season 2 from amazon.com can I be confident that it will ship with the cardboard sleeve? I notice some retailers tend to forget/disregard the sleeve

Don't really know. I think it depends on the shipment the retailer gets. After the first pressing, I think most studios ditch slipcovers. Lost S1 & S2 have only been out a month, so it may still be safe. I got mine with slipcovers about a month ago.

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered mine last Tuesday and received both Season 1 & 2 Thursday with slipcovers.

It's still pretty early...I'd say you're in the clear. You can always contact them afterwards and ask for a slipcover...you never know.

What I want to know is when will they send out matching replacement sleeves so Season 3 will match Seasons 1,2 4 & presumably 5?

as far as I've seen s2 only comes with a slip cover.

the only one you might not get a cover for is s3 which was the first on blu and had an oversized cardboard cover. at this point it's hard to find.
