First the window of this prime deal is JULY 1- JULY 8th

Sony Style deal ends July 8th
BDA deal starts July 1st and ends Sept 30th

Sony Style In store deal is:

buy a ps3 get 2 free games of your choice and a 50.00 gift card. Use the 50.00 gift card for 2 Blu-Ray movies

This is In-Store only.

so now you have:

PS3
game 1
game 2
movie 1
movie 2

then send in your validation to Blu-Ray Disc Association and recieve 5 free movies, thus you have:

PS3 console
game 1
game 2
movie 1
movie 2
bda movie 1
bda movie 2
bda movie 3
bda movie 4
bda movie 5

so for 599.00 i have 7 free blu-ray movies and 2 free games.

If that isnt the deal of the century I dont know what is.....

Once again... they always do some special deals once I already purchase my stuff. The same goes for my HDTV when it went on sale for $400 cheaper... I could have bought an xbox360.

This has been discussed before. The SonyStyle deal on the PS3 is PS3 + 2 Games + Controller = US$50 Gift card. If you're going to buy the games and controller anyway, then it's a good deal.

The 5 BDs for free is a valid promo but only starts in July. Phase Hydra is about to start.

I was glad to get mine in October without paying more than sticker... but damn... now I wish I never found that needle in a haystack.

Exactly. You have to buy the two games and a controller to get the $50 card. It is not 2 free games and a free controller. Or at least that was the deal I saw.
