The chips are great! They had like 8 varieties and I tried them all. The drawback is that they are EXPENSIVE. Like $3.50 for a big barely enough for 2.

There was a local store when I was growing up that sold only hot sauces, and it recently closed (I wonder why?), but I bought stuff from them years ago during high school.

The hot sauce industry is apparently pretty odd. The "with skull" thing is just one of many hot sauces that includes a sort of keychain thing dangling from the bottle. One of the weirdest was a mini toilet bowl thing. Weird people making weird hot sauces I guess.

Anyhow, the store put stickers on the bottom of each bottle, to list how hot it was (on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the hottest). I guess they made the scale years ago, and science has made them even hotter, because the last time I went in there they had several 11's for sale. I bought a 9 and a 10 (the 11's cost a lot), and they were insanely hot. As a prank I used to ask my friends if they wanted some snacks, but always added a few drops of hot sauce to a few random things (whether it was a plate of pepperoni, or chips, or whatever). The reactions were priceless.

That is an awesome story. I like how there's a level 11 now à la Spinal Tap. I bet you had some good times pulling off those stunts. I once told my brother (who was like three years old at the time) to eat a few "pieces of candy" which were actually jalapeño slices.

We used to order these at work years ago. They made the purchaser sign a waiver saying they weren't liable if you put that in someone's food as a prank and they were injured. There were some good ones.
