PS3 version of Star Ocean: The Last Hope pops up on GameFly

Apparently, enough time has gone by for the "exclusive" game to do its damage to the competition abroad. We're currently awaiting a response from Square Enix and we'll update as soon as we receive a transmission from the distant star system.

the game is bad and have freezing bugs on 360 , i don't think SE would waste anymore money on this game trying to port it to ps3 unless they added new characters and scenes like TOV

let me inform you that the game have some ecchi scenes -_-

Wooh! I'd be sooo happy if this game came to the PS3...although I haven't heard many good things about it.

Where's Maxpower1987? I believe he must know something about this because he mentioned being surprised by the amount of money being paid by Microsoft for SO4 exclusivity right before FFXIII was announced as multiplatform.

How about it, Max? Is there any light you can shed on this?

Nice... can't wait for this game to come out on the PS3. I've been playing the PSP version and I'm loving it. I'm hoping that SquareEnix will have a more polish version on the PS3 then it did on the 360...

In any event, I wouldn't be too surprised for this to be true. Square Enix needs to port the game over if they want to save the franchise's future.

Sales of this game have been very poor WW, it wouldn't surprise me if Square management built in performance related clauses which allow them to do a MP release...
