New Wii Resort...

Just got this game for the kids and it comes with a Wii motion plus in the box, you need to hook the regular Wii controller into this now the problem is that the game only work with the new motion plus hence making the other controller that you have sitting on the sidelines until you get the motion plus for the other controllers that you have...

I think as a generality, most people know that for multi-player games that use the new Wii Motion add-on, they're going to have to buy extra add-ons. Sucky, but that's how it is. It's just like any other game that uses special peripherals; e.g. Rock Band.

Anyway, how do you like the game itself? There are a few new Wii games out there right now that I really want; this being one of them, and the Tiger Woods golf being the other. I still want to get Boom Blox as well. I bought Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz almost a year ago, but just unwrapped last Friday! I played it a couple times over the weekend, and it is FUN! I wish I would have opened it a while ago.

It's pretty good actually, alot of new games and as you get better at the games, newer levels open up.

its awesome, The kids love it! Its better than Wii Sports by far. The Motion plus thing is included with newer games like Tiger 10 and so on.

I actually still like Wii Sports, but I've been waiting for something better for a while now. It sounds like this is it. My boys are really into sports in general (like father, like son), so Wii nights get pretty competitive when we play Wii Sports -- and they're only six and two years old!

One thing that especially sucks at this point is the add-on is something else to have to worry about breaking/losing/getting greasy. They should just sell controllers with that sensor technology built-in to them.

I just saw a commercial for this a while ago and thought it looked like a lot of fun. I'm glad to hear people are liking it. I might have to check it out.

True. At least Nintendo thought ahead and included the new rubber guard that fits around the extended controller, and the Motion+ thing has a lock on it, so that once you put it on (combined with the rubber guard thing) you don't really have to worry about it falling off. And since it's compatible with other games (even if it doesn't make the games respond better, it won't stop the controller from working), so you could theoretically just leave it on all the time.

Sports Resort is pretty fun, definitely better than Wii Sports. Bowling was always great, but I think my favorite things now are archery and swordfighting.
