If your main interest is movies, bipole speakers are much better than direct-radiating speakers for surround applications. You can place the bipoles on the side walls or the rear walls. You can slso get a set of brackets and attach them to the ceiling behind you. My bipole surround speakers are hanging from the ceiling.

I agree with Big Daddy, with a corner placement of your TV, you'll have a problem getting monopoles to encompass your listening area as well as what the bipoles would do according to your diagram. You'll have much better surround sound with bipoles as your rear surrounds.

As a fellow owner of Bipole Speakers(along with forsberg)I can recommend using Bipole Speakers without a doubt at all.

I used regular bookshelf speakers as surrounds previously, but didnt know there could be such a tremendous difference in switching to bipoles, until I added my first pair.
After using my first pair of bipoles I changed my second pair of surrounds into bipoles also.

The difference is one of the largest and most effective changes that have occurred to my entire home theater.
So trust Big Daddy and forsberg...Bipoles are the way to go for your surround sound speakers...
