That's right: Zac Efron loves Back to the Future. See, don't you have a little more respect for him now? Cinematical picked up this tidbit via Teen Hollywood, which took Efron's admission of love for the classic trilogy to mean that he would happily play Marty in a remake.

+1. I agree. how do you know he is being a jerk. he may have been kidding about it. Back on topic though, I don't want to see someone repalcing Michael J Fox or even the Doc for Back to the Future. Bad idea altogether.

i started a jest thread about this a while ago....there is NO REMAKE PLANNED...zac effron simply said he'd love to play marty mcfly if someone ever wanted to do a remake because he grew up watching the movies and was in love with them or some crap.....apparently in love with them enough to want to ruin them

Hollywood wants to ruin classic films so if Zac Efron sounds intersted they will jump on this opportunity. Look their remaking Poltergeist what next Jaws, Beverly Hills Cop with Chris Tucker. IMO if Hollywood wants to remake a film reamke something you can improve on. Like Howard the Duck or other bad films.
