Strange Price Variation at BB stores - Blu-ray Forum

I went in and bought the Simpsons Season 12 on dvd today and the ugly horrible pop out head editions were on sale for $28.99 and the regular boxed edition was $39.99. Does anyone know why that might be? What makes it really odd is the pop out head edition is simply the regular edition with a plastic mold glued on top of it.
