Default Papa Roach's Home Theater

The HT of the guitarist for Papa Roach. Looks like something you'd see in our own galleries.

I'd like those B&W's but it looks like what a lot people do on this site. Nothing that stands out like I'd expect from someone in a major band. Although that looks like a family/social room so it works quite well for what the room is.

I like this part....

There's nothing too extravagant or over-the-top, and it seems like the kind of setup my dad would install if he had a few extra grand.
You're gonna need more than "few grand" to land those 802d's

Of course they don't mention his basement set-up which aside from a top of the line A/V set-up probably also includes 3 stripper poles, a hot tub, a wall-to-wall bar and mirror countertops

haha - A friend of mine has Sonus Faber Cremona M speakers and a McIntosh MC-352 poweramp. When he began dating his girlfriend who knows nothing about hifi, she came over and saw his gear in his house, and she goes "Wow that looks really expensive, how much was it, like $500? Those look like they cost that much."

Normal people have no clue how much gear costs.

When my wife and I decided to buy the B&W 703/HTM7/705/DS7s her sister did the same thing somewhat...... she asked, and I said they were pretty pricey, and she said "more than $100 each?" And I said "Yeah, but not much more"

Obviously my gear isn't in the same ballpark of your friends..... but it's certainly true that most people don't realize "Normal" people are willing to invest so much into the hobby.
