Default Where is Wild Arms??

PS3 is on it's third year and still no announcement of Wild Arms for PS3. If Sony can get their hands off their asses and started to cooperate with Media Vision and help them with PS3's hardware that would be solid gold.

Anyone heard anything new about Wild Arms for PS3? PS3 needs more RPGs to become the most interesting RPG powerhouse we have waited for.

The last one so far was XF(Cross Fire) for PSP but haven't heard a thing about a Wild Arms coming to PS3. Maybe they think it's too soon or something since they probably want to wait until more JRPG fans buy a PS3.

I'm a be watching the PS3 and JPRG scene with great interest following the Japanese release of Final Fantasy 13. That could be the key trigger in showing that RPGs belong on PS3.

That game was funny! Atlus had an equally humorous 'Advice Girls' column spoofing the game on their website for awhile too.

As long as the new game had better battle gameplay and magic learning (no more missing spells by levelling past them!), I'd be up for it.

Yeah, I can't wait for a new Wild Arms. I do want them to ditch the HEX system from the more recent ones, though.

Yeah, the fact that the last 2 hex Wild ARMs felt interchangable was disappointing. XF wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the same type of game either. After Final Fantasy, Xenogears/saga, Tales of, and Persona, Wild ARMs is my 5th favorite RPG series!

I've been comtemplating on purchasing this PSN title. I couldn't find any good gameplay movies around the Net to convince me. Can anyone give me a good recommendation to spend $5.99 of my saved funds (for RB DLC) to buy this? Is the gameplay, story, graphics, cutscenes good? Thanks.

It has ok graphics(but I guess if you play it on PSP it probably will look better), story is good, gameplay is good, and few cutscenes but can't really expect it to have awesome looking graphics for a PS1 game that's not even remastered. Overall I say it's worth it but I like the 2nd one more then the 1st one but thats IMO or you can get the original Suikoden for the same price.

Graphics are dated (early 3D doesn't age as gracefully as 2D), but everything else is awesome. Actually I take that back, the battle scene visuals are dated, but the overhead screen visuals (when roaming around) look fine. Wild Arms was the first great RPG for the Playstation and arguably the best of the series. Great cast of baddies, awesome music, a pretty good story and solid gameplay round out the overall package.

At this point, I'd get Suikoden over Wild Arms (on PSN), but the latter might have more appeal to certain types of fans.

I remember the demo for the original Thousand Arms - probably one of my favorite demos ever. Unfortunatly, I never got around to buying the actual game (which is surprisingly because I probably own every localized PS1 RPG except TA). It's a shame... I heard great things and my favorite magazine ever (Gamefan) gave it stellar marks.

While I do agree with you on this, Suikoden did beat Wild Arms to market, and many people consider that a great RPG.

Really? I could have sworn Wild Arms came first. I do consider Suikoden a great RPG (one of my faves for the original PS).
