Figures this would come out right after we get an announcement for a more general release of the TV show coming to DVD this fall/winter (to coincide with the movie)
I just can't win when it comes to Tin Tin. Here's hoping we see more on Blu before the DVD release, and that we get a bundle. would love to hear about the quality on this title though. If anyone finds a review, please let me know. |

I've watched Temple of the Sun. I believe it was in 1.78:1 ratio. Lines were sort of smudgy, very ugly-looking. I'm no expert but I'd say it looks like a filter, possibly from after doing an upscale. Colors were nice though.
I rented this one out of the three after hearing it was the least bad, but it was still a pretty awful movie, I must say. ![]() |

Is this by any chance Region B compatible and does it come with English subtitles for the French audio?
Edit: Oh, if it's like the Blu-rays from France, then there's definitely no English subtitles, but still English dub. :-s Last edited by ps3bd_owner; 08-14-2011 at 11:27 PM. |

My issue with these is that they have been cropped to a 1.78:1 aspect ratio instead of keeping the original aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The DVDs are 480p, but at least they are 1.33:1.

True. A good 1440x1080 release would have been perfect for those. Especially if they could reconcile the French and English versions with different views. They seem to do it by having the two different versions as completely separate films, each taking 8GB out of the BD-25
