Feels like a mix of The Avengers (2012), The Tomorrow War (2021) and RoboCop (2014).

I mean if there's an English dub I'll give it a shot.

Saw the trailer and was somewhat intrigued but watching that action is a bit of a nightmare if its constantly cut from one shot to the next.

I would have thought Asian cinema movies would have learned from all the fighting movies on the importance of lingering on action shots and keeping things in frame.

John Wick is arguably one of the best modern examples in Hollywood and it just adds so much more impact imo but here it just comes across as a bit of a mess but if it came to UK Netflix, i'd also likely give it a watch.

I didn’t know there was an app, I’m using the website itself.

I was having a problem with the YouTube videos too. It was asking me to enter a captcha. It’s back to normal now, or looks to be. Also not using an app and just looking at the site on my phones browser.

Agree. I was thinking the trailer looks like they tried to just do EVERY Action/Sci-Fi film at once. I for one am not mad at that.

Almost giving me Night Watch vibes.

Anyone watch this?

Caught it last night & thought it was pretty good. The plot, such as it is, is incredibly thin, but the action & effects were really well done for the most part.

Well worth a look if you like your sci-fi action on the OTT side. 7/10.

A couple of bits that bothered me:
[Show spoiler]
1. When they find out that the wheelchair-bound General is trying to foil the mission for his own personal gains, rather than take him down or arrest him, they just ask him to stop. He basically says 'No', & that apparently is a good enough response for them to leave him in his office, still in control of his killer robots. Later he shoots himself, but not before he's nearly killed everyone on the mission. WTF?

2. I'm pretty sure a few thousand people died when the killer plant broke through the border at the end. Was it as many as the 160,000 they were trying to save? Who knows? But the casualty rate can't have been very low...

I really enjoyed this, the action sequences are absolutely incredible, particularly the suspenseful sequence where they are trying to get the bullet thing while everything is about to collapse around them and the extended highway chase against the killer robots. The way the latter was put together reminded me of the futuristic robot segment in Sucker Punch, some of those CG shots are just awesome to behold the way the camera is moving around the action.

The movie is only 1 hour 41 mins so it flies by, really fast paced. I'd love to get this on 4K UHD which will never happen i guess.
