I dont know about anyone else, but Im pretty excited for this film. Proyas (of Dark City and I Robot fame) hasnt directed a film since 2009's Knowing (underrated by the way).

I've been looking forward to this for ages, I'm hoping its in 3D too. Hopefully a trailer in the near future.

Big Proyas fan here. One of the most interesting directors out there today in terms of on screen visuals. Will keep an eye out for this one. And I agree with the OP, Knowing is definitely underrated.

Always up for a historical epic as long as it isn't PG-13. You'd think the mediocre/poor performance of recent PG-13 historical epics would tell Hollywood PG-13 doesn't guarantee bank for this genre.

Character Posters released! If this is anything similar to Immortals, I will be very excited! I like these posters. Cool that that the movies gave roles to the prince from Malificent and two of Immortan Joe's wives from Mad Mad Fury Road!

...but Proyas' career has been a giant disappointment since then imo.

He just doesnt make a lot of movies often, that's all. All of his films have been entertaining.

I like all of Alex Proyas films I've seen (The Crow, I Robot, Dark City, Knowing), so I'm looking forward to this, but these character posters are terrible

Can't wait to see the internet get into a fluster over this like they did with Exodus and Pan, only for everyone to snap out of and realize they were wasting their energy on a bad movie.

I wish we could get his debut movie on blu ray 'Spirits Of The Air, Gremlins Of The Clouds'. It is such a beautiful & haunting movie.

Love all his films. But epic period films are getting worn out, Kingdom of Heaven was the last great one. I hope this will be good.
